Variables are used to display different results with the same plot profile. Variables are set up using the -variables- button. Variables are set up with a default value and may be referenced in page, view or object settings for scaling and definition of result loadcases, superposition files or stress point names and descriptive text objects using angle brackets. New values are passed to the variables, when the plot is performed using the action ++DoPlot.

To apply variables, drop down arrows are used in individual input fields. See the individual help pads for a list of input fields that may be used with variables.

To create new variables or edit the selected variable, the following buttons are used

• Edit
• Delete
